Since 1968, each year nearly 4,000 sick, injured and orphaned wildlife patients from Southwest Florida receive care from CROW. Providing compassionate care to animals at all stages of illness or injury is what we do. Our staff and volunteers work tirelessly to nurse the animals back to health with the end goal of releasing them back into the wild. CROW operates a 4,800 square-foot hospital on 12.5 acre campus on Sanibel Island, Florida. The Visitor Education Center features interactive displays, daily presentations, wildlife animal ambassadors, videos and "critter cams" where people of all ages can learn about patients that have benefitted from the clinic and ways to help prevent tragedies in the future.
